Member flight terms and conditions

Only members of the DC-Association may take part on flights. More about membership. Non members may join the Association at the time of flight booking (see section membership. on booking form) If you are not a member yet, you may join when booking the flight.

Unfortunately the flight list, information and booking form are at the moment in Finnish only. Google Translator can be used for instant help.

Checking your flight status

Please make sure you check the flight status information as the flight may have been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, lack of participants or some other unforeseen reason. Flights are generally operated if there are fewer than 4 unsold seats, but it is advisable to check the situation by calling +358 50 566 6346 or emailing lennot@dc-ry.fi.

Passengers must arrive and register at the airfield at least 60 minutes before takeoff.

To be made online at the time of booking (also membership fee, if applicable).

Flight cancellations etc.

If you were not a member yet and joined to the association when booking, do not pay the member fee with the flight bill, you will get a member fee bill afterwards to your e-mail.

If you cannot get to boarding, be sure to cancel your reservation on time. Use cancellation link found in the reservation reply or call +358 50 566 6346.
If a member fails to appear before the flight, no fee will be refunded.

The DC-3 is a historical aircraft. The operation of the DC association does not fully comply with the safety requirements for commercial airline industry, concerning pilots, aircraft, maintenance and operation.

As the DC Association is not a commercial operator, no compensation is paid for cancelled flights or flights interrupted by a technical fault. A refund will be made for a non operated flight leg, and in case of an interrupted flight, participants are expected to return at their own cost.

In case of an accident, participants, luggage and third parties are covered by Articles 6 and 7 of Regulation (EC) No 785/2004.
